On Wednesday 1 December, we're running a series of webinars to teach students how to use the Unifrog university search tools to find the best courses and universities for them around the world. Expert Unifrog hosts will give them tricks to get the most from the tools and explore how students can use their university shortlists to create a strong application and boost their chances of success.

[New] CUHK - (New programme) The Chinese University of Hong Kong-Tsinghua University Dual Undergraduate Degree Programme in Economics
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has launched in this academic year - CUHK-Tsinghua University Dual Undergraduate Degree Programme in Economics. This programme allows the student to obtain two degrees, one from CUHK in Hong Kong and the other from Tsinghua University in mainland China, after studying for 4 years. In following an integrated study scheme, the student would spend totally two years at CUHK and two years at Tsinghua University. This unique programme provides exposure to a diversity of teaching scholars, a broad international student body, and two distinct learning environments. (See attachment for more)
This programme admits only students with superb academic results and dynamic global outlook. For general admission requirements of the programme, please refer to this page. The regular application deadline is 6 January 2022.

University of Toronto Hong Kong Foundation - Scholarship Opportunities for Hong Kong Students
The Hong Kong Scholarships are intended to help families with financial need to partially meet the cost of a University of Toronto education. A single application to the University of Toronto Hong Kong Scholarships makes applicants eligible for the following scholarships:
University of Toronto (Hong Kong) Foundation Scholarship
William Doo Scholarship
Fung Yiu King Memorial Scholarship

Lo Family Scholarship
Eligibility:
Undergraduate students in any college or faculty
Hong Kong students who have completed or are in the process of completing the HKDSE, IB (or equivalent). Applicants must have the prerequisite courses needed for their chosen program at the University of Toronto; have an English proficiency test; intending to begin university studies in the following academic year
Permanent resident of Hong Kong who will return after graduation (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit); not have citizenship, landed immigrant status, permanent residency or any other claim to residence in Canada
Demonstrate family financial need
Have strong personal initiative and community leadership; have a genuine interest in living abroad and wants to enjoy a new cultural experience
Be committed to developing a career and community service in Hong Kong.
Deadline to Apply: 13-Jan-22 Value/Amount: The University of Toronto Hong Kong Scholarships range from CAD 16,500 to 33,000 per year, renewable for 4 years. Throughout the year, our academic schools hold a range of taster sessions to give your students a taste of the subjects we teach. [New] NL - University of Amsterdam (UvA) Experience Days
Do you want to know more about the UvA Bachelor’s programme and see if it’s the right fit for you? From 22 November to 3 December you can get a taste of the programme and experience it yourself, for example by following an actual or online lecture, and experience the UvA for yourself. Registration for the UvA Experience Days is now open.

CH - Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne - EHL Junior Academy Online Course
EHL Digital Junior Academy is designed for young people who are curious about future business and career opportunities. Hospitality in a Digital World is a 2-day online course (11 and 12 December 2021) for 14-18 year old students, to develop new skills and make connections in the hospitality field. Over the course of a weekend, participants will be entertained through live sessions, interactive courses and team challenges with a special focus towards the upcoming holiday season. To share their learning, participants will have the possibility to invite their parents or siblings to assist them during the live cooking workshop to spend time in family.
US - Common App Writing Requirements Resources by College
The 2021-2022 version of the writing requirements resource is now available, and will help students get a full picture of what writing requirements to expect from each college on a student’s list.
Also, Common App recently launched refreshed tutorial videos that walk you through the first-year applications. Featuring the voices of Common App staff and members of the counseling community, each video covers suggested best practices for college exploration, account rollover, recommendations for approaching the activities and writing sections, and much more. Our videos can be found in the first-year application guides on our website.
