What's on in Hong Kong...
[New] HKU&U Website
The University has been issuing offers and some of you might have already received them. To help students with offers better picture their journey at HKU, they have recently launched the HKU&U website with consolidated information for you. The HKU&U website contains information on: offer acceptance, accommodation, visa application, scholarships, upcoming events, FAQs and more!
The University also have exclusive online sessions on their Events & Happenings page, where you could register for the upcoming sharing sessions and view the playbacks of previous ones.
[New] HKU Cloud-based Learning
The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has launched a series of Online Support Initiatives to encourage secondary school students to continue learning at home to enhance their knowledge.
The initiatives include an online course platform "HKU Cloud-based Learning" (https://aal.hku.hk/admissions/local/hku-cloud-learning), giving secondary school students an opportunity to maximize their time for knowledge advancement especially during this no-schooling period. The online courses feature trending topics such as medicine, economics, IT and humanities, etc. in which most of them are self-paced video lectures. You are welcome to join these HKU Online courses for free. More online courses (e.g. livestream courses) will be available soon. Please stay tuned.

[New] HKU - IB Top Scorers Exam Tips Sharing
In order to help IB students better prepare for the exams, three IB top scorers who are current students at HKU hosted a Facebook live session on March 4.
In the live session, the top scorers shared their preparation tips and test-taking strategies that contributed to their achievements in IB exams. They also answered questions from IB students locally and overseas. Those questions are subject specific such as how to effectively memorise Biology content and how to approach Business Paper 2 10 marker, which might also be useful for you.

2019 / 2020 Lyn Edinger U.S. Studies Scholarship
AmCham Charitable Foundation is proud to announce the annual Lyn Edinger U.S. Studies Scholarship. The Scholarship is available to a qualified graduate of a secondary school in Hong Kong to pursue studies at a U.S. university.
The Award: One (1) one-time scholarship award of HK$24,000 for a secondary school graduate from Hong Kong to pursue undergraduate study at a U.S. college or university.
Eligibility Requirements - Students must fulfill ALL of the following criteria to apply:
1. Hold permanent residency in Hong Kong.
2. Have received six years of continuous education in a secondary school in Hong Kong.
3. Be enrolled now as a full-time student in Secondary 6 of a Hong Kong school for the year 2019-2020.
4. Have successfully gained admission to an undergraduate degree program at a U.S. four-year college or university as a first-year student in the fall of 2020.

Oxford Royale Academy is delighted to share further information about ORA's Oxford Summer School for ages 13-18, including a link to their new brochure which is now available to download.
** Where do students live and study? Summer school will take place on the campus of the world-renowned University of Oxford. Students will live in undergraduate accommodation and study in university seminar rooms and lecture theatres, enjoying an authentic taste of student life in the world's most famous academic institution.
** When does the summer school take place? The summer school runs from 7th June to 29th August. Students typically stay for two or more weeks, with each course starting on a Sunday and ending on a Saturday.
