EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 430 advising centers in more than 170 countries and territories. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about the full range of opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States. In celebration of International Education Week from November 16 to 20, the EducationUSA EAP network will be offering an informative and engaging week-long virtual program for prospective students interested in studying in the United States. The Professional Development program allows participants to nurture their potential and apply it to the practical professional world. ESF’s vision has always been to create a joyful and personalised learning environment that inspires young curious minds. This programme strives to fulfill the potential of young talent to better prepare them as they transition to post-secondary education and even the professional world. Before applying, please note the following:
1. You must be 16 years old or older before being able to apply.
2. This opportunity can be counted as CAS hours.
3. Positions are currently an unpaid internship experience. Candidates may be offered a paid part time role after their internship experience or if the opportunity provides.
4. Ability to communicate in an additional language is a plus.
5. Must be able to commit 6-8 hours a week to this commitment.

[New] HKBU - Call for Applications: Non-JUPAS Admissions for HKBU Undergraduate Science Programmes (2021 Entry)
The Faculty of Science is now calling for Year 1 Non-JUPAS applications for 2021 entry. The deadline of main round applications is 4 January 2021. We offer a wide range of undergraduate science programmes. Students for Year 1 entry may apply for the following programmes:
Bachelor of Science (Hons) (JS2510): Broad-based programme with a free choice of eight major programmes
Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Computing and Data Analytics (JS2910): The programme co-offered by the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Department of Economics and Department of Finance and Decision Sciences, School of Business

[New] HKU - Newly Launched Science Master Class
HKU's Faculty of Science is introducing a new double degree programme, the Science Master Class in academic year 2021-22, allowing students to complete 2 degrees in 4 years - a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Research (MRes) from HKU, where research-aspired students can learn from Science Masters (renowned scientists in the Faculty) to achieve their scholastic potential in science. Students are also welcome to join the admission talk and visit the programme website for further information.

[New] HKUST - The IPO Pop Quiz
Interdisciplinary Programs Office (IPO) of HKUST is going to organize The IPO Pop Quiz for all Hong Kong high school students to know more about the three undergraduate programs offered by IPO: Dual Degree Program in Technology & Management (JS5901), BSc in Environmental Management & Technology (JS5812) and BSc in Individualized Interdisciplinary Major.
Weekly Quiz about IPO Programs will be posted on ipo.ust.hk/popquiz2020 for 3 consecutive Fridays starting from 20 November 2020. Participating students will have chance to win weekly and grand prizes. Details please refer to the attached poster and the event webpage: ipo.ust.hk/popquiz2020.

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology - HKUST Business YoungStars Program 2021
Established in 2009, the HKUST Business YoungStars (BYS) program is a 1-year program specially designed for Year 11-12 students (or equivalent) who are interested to explore more about the business study and to get the first-hand experience of what it is like to be an all-rounded business student at HKUST. Participants will explore and deepen their insight about our various business disciplines through the mini-lectures conducted by our first-class scholars at the HKUST campus.
Program period: January – December 2021
Eligibility: Year 11 or Year 12 in U.K. education system (or equivalent). Students from all subject areas are welcome to apply.
Learning mode: In-person activities for students in Hong Kong if the situation allows.*
Students outside Hong Kong will join the classes and activities in real-time interactive mode.
Program highlights:
Have a taste of business education by joining the six mini-lectures hosted by our first-class scholars at weekends.
