Upcoming events this month

This week the ESF Schools have arranged a Virtual University Fair for all Year 12 Parents and Students. This is a valuable opportunity to meet with the university representative as we are unable to organize an actual University Fair this year. Besides the Fair, we have selected some other virtual events for students to attend.

[New] US - University of Chicago Summer Session

UChicago Summer Session is excited to offer new virtual courses for students in Summer 2021! Please find the latest course information on our website: summer.uchicago.edu. This year, as you approach your New Year’s resolutions, think summer resolutions! A few suggestions for your list are:

1. Make new friends!

Get to know fellow idea-driven students from around the world who are excited to learn at any time of year! You may just find the Thelma to your Louise or the Chandler to your Joey.

2. Learn from the best!

Our instructors are leaders in their fields and include a Quantrell Award winner, a former congressional staffer, and more! And they’re excited to pass their knowledge on to you!

3. Challenge yourself!

All courses are taught beyond the scope of typical high school curricula and are great for the intellectual risk-taker (we don’t like to toot our own horn, but having a UChicago class on your college applications does look pretty darn good ).

4. Learn the “dos and don’ts” of applying to college!

All Summer Session students have access to Admissions Academy sessions with actual UChicago Admissions Counselors.

5. Have fun!

With help from UChicago’s undergraduate mentors, the fun doesn’t have to end when class does. Make your first deep-dish pizza from home or show your classmates who reigns supreme in Among Us (whether Item #1 stays checked in the process is up to you)!
