CA - Queen's University - Top Three Things to Do When Researching Universities

Throughout the fall we’re hoping we can help you on your journey to university by providing you with information that will help you feel confident about the programs and universities you choose when you apply. And, of course you’ll learn all about Queen’s.

1 Check Out the Programs This will make your list shorter. Not all universities will have the program you’re interested in. Whether you choose to apply to the Bader International Study Centre in the UK, or to one of the programs on our Kingston campus, we’re confident you will find a program that matches your interests.

2 Review the Admission Requirements Ensure you have the pre-requisites you need when you apply. Universities will want to see that you are registered in all the pre-requisite courses. The Queen’s Undergraduate Admission site has a good search tool that will help you look at Queen’s programs.

3 Look for Ways to Learn More Most universities are offering virtual sessions and events. Queen’s is no different! Bookmark our event page and check back often to see what new events are happening.

US - NACAC Virtual College Fairs

NACAC’s upcoming series of Virtual College Fairs kicks off on Jan. 31! Common App is thrilled to support these virtual events, designed to help students connect with college admissions officers and ask important questions about the application process. These sessions support all students, including seniors who have not yet applied. Students can prepare ahead of time by tagging the Zoom sessions they want to attend. If your students can’t make it to the first event, there are more opportunities to join this spring:

Miss the first two sessions? You can now view the recordings for the January 12 and January 26 webinars.
