[New] CUHK - A new programme Earth and Environmental Programme (EESC) launched in academic year 2022-2023
The Faculty of Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has recently launched a new programme, the Earth and Environmental Sciences (EESC). In 2022-23, the EESC, integrating two current programmes - Earth System Science (ESSC) and Environmental Science (ENSC), is ready for admission.
Students will be equipped with the latest interdisciplinary knowledge and technical skills to observe, understand, analyse, and model various Earth Systems and Processes that drive natural and anthropogenic global environmental change. Training in quantitative and analytical skills, such as big data analysis techniques and AI & deep learning concepts will be offered. Building up student’s capabilities through laboratory work, field studies, numerical modelling and programming experience is the highlight of our programme. Students can choose one of three streams - Geophysics Stream, Atmospheric Stream and Environmental Stream to focus on their study.

CUHK - (New programme) The Chinese University of Hong Kong-Tsinghua University Dual Undergraduate Degree Programme in Economics
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has launched in this academic year - CUHK-Tsinghua University Dual Undergraduate Degree Programme in Economics. This programme allows the student to obtain two degrees, one from CUHK in Hong Kong and the other from Tsinghua University in mainland China, after studying for 4 years. In following an integrated study scheme, the student would spend totally two years at CUHK and two years at Tsinghua University. This unique programme provides exposure to a diversity of teaching scholars, a broad international student body, and two distinct learning environments. (See attachment for more)
This programme admits only students with superb academic results and dynamic global outlook. For general admission requirements of the programme, please refer to this page. The regular application deadline is 6 January 2022.

[New] UK - University of Warwick - Warwick Economic Summit (WES)
Warwick Economics Summit is the largest student-run academic conference in Europe. Every year WES invite a diverse range of world-renowned speakers to host talks, events and seminars. This year, WES is expanding their outreach to 16-18 year olds to develop grassroots awareness of economics to school students around the world virtually. WES is also a great opportunity to gain a deeper and diversified understanding of economics and its application in the real world, and would make an impressive addition to students’ UCAS personal statements and university applications.
In previous editions, WES have welcomed 2000+ students from over 60 countries, from Africa to North America. This year is the 21st and first ever hybrid edition of the Warwick Economics Summit, which will be held from 4th - 6th February 2022.

[New] UK - University of Warwick - Warwick Undergraduate Global Excellence Scholarship 2022
We’re delighted to confirm that the scheme has been approved to run again for students joining us in September 2022 and 2023. We will continue to offer 250 scholarship awards including 20 x Full fee scholarships per year of study, 160 x £13,000 scholarships per year of study, and 70 x £2,000 scholarships per year of study. All overseas-fee paying students who have applied for a full-time undergraduate course before the UCAS application deadline of 26 January 2022 are eligible to apply. Details are available here.
