[New] Asian Charity Services' First Teens Give Program 2021- Job Shadowing in NGOs cum fund raising video making competition

Congratulations to 11W Adrian WONG! This summer earmarked a huge milestone in the community services journey of Adrian WONG! After a week of job shadowing, it is thrilled to announce that Adrian's team won the Champion of the video making competition of the first

Teens Give program 2021 launched by Asian Charity Services (ACS). The most encouraging reward is to get $100k prize to fund ChickenSoup Foundation.

Adrian, being an enthusiastic young person, has been selected to join ACS's First Teens Give program from 24 July to 5 August 2021. It is a highly engaging program which teaches teens the business of philanthropy and helps them understand their role in this world and the impacts they can make. Through engaging them in a week of invaluable job shadowing in ACS's list of NGOs, the ten teens teams ended the program with making a marketing videos to promote their NGOs.

Adrian's team, with 3 energetic youngsters, is led by a caring voluntary mentor to participate in a week of unforgettable and fruitful job shadowing experience in the ChickenSoup Foundation. The foundation intensively engaged them in various aspects of their work to let them understand how and what they are doing to empower those families in crisis with love and other assistance.

Adrian's team winning video is now broadcasting in the Billboard at Causeway Bay MTR Exit F1 from 16-29 August 2021. They sincerely hope that their video can touch people’s hearts and let more people know about the philosophy of the ChickenSoup Foundation and how important their impacts, either through volunteering work or donations, can make the needed families a huge difference in life. Afterall, we are one family! SOUL GOOD, ChickenSoup! For more details please visit ChickenSoup Foundation and ACS

What we look for in a student's application

Here at Hopkins, we are looking to create a class of students who have different interests and perspectives because we believe that diversity of thought encourages original research ideas and meaningful collaboration within the Hopkins community.

That's why we review the full context of a student’s application—from their academic potential to how they engage in communities and the causes that matter to them.

Check out the video to learn more about how you can craft your applications with our review process in mind. You may also check out more tips from our admissions committee on our College Planning Toolkit.
