[New] HKUST Experience Day 2021 Main Round Registration (Open to Senior Grades Students) (by 30 Sep, 12:00 noon)
As the HKUST application (2022 Intake) is opening today, we would like to invite more students to our October event. Since we have further increased the number of activities available at the event, we are excited to cordially invite all your senior form students to participate in the HKUST Experience Day by registering their preferred experiential activity by noon on 30 Sep (Thu).
Participants will get a real taste of HKUST through taster lectures, hands-on workshops, laboratory visits and demonstration, and campus tours, alongside with admissions consultation booths for in-person engagement with our admissions officers and students.
Since seats are limited for on-campus events, we could only accommodate each participant to register for one event activity only. Apart from the registered activity, participants are free to join an array of on-site activities such as the campus coach tour.

[New] PolyU Undergraduate Info Day 2021
The PolyU Undergraduate Info Day 2021 will be held online on Saturday 9 October 2021 from 9.30am to 5.30pm. It will also be held physically at PolyU campus in the morning on that day (with limited places) if the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic allow. This is certainly an excellent opportunity for you to learn more about our undergraduate programmes and interact with our staff and students. [New] The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) Information Day 2021
This year the event will be held on0site at our Wan Chai Campus or online on 16 October 2021 (Saturday). Ranked first in Asia and top 10 in the world by QS World University Rankings in the performing arts subject, The Academy is committed providing an innovative, multidisciplinary and globally-focused education for talented students. Our six Schools will share their insights regarding the latest development in innovative performing arts education, our new academic programmes and electives, and the "42424" semester structure to be launched in 2022/23 academic year. Surgical Taster Day 2021 by the Student Surgical Association of Hong Kong (SSAHK)
The Student Surgical Association of Hong Kong (SSAHK) is a society established in 2014, jointly run by medical students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Hong Kong. Since its establishment, the society has been funded by the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong (CSHK) and has registered with the International Association of Student Surgical Societies (IASSS).
The Surgical Taster Day 2021 is an annual two-day event designed for local S4-6 (or equivalent) secondary school students looking to pursue further studies in medicine. It has been a widely anticipated key event of SSAHK and we are looking to recruit a fresh batch of participants for our 7th year of hosting the event. The programme aims to provide participants with early exposure to the medical school life in Hong Kong and the field of surgery through interactions with medical students and surgeons. Highlights of the programme include the Suturing Workshop, Mock “Problem-based Learning (PBL)” tutorial, Histology and Clinical Skills workshop, Surgeon sharings and many more. A certificate of participation will be awarded upon completion of the whole event. Details of the event are as follows:

What's new for HKUST (2022 Intake)
To start with, our online application system will open on 27 Sep, with early round deadline on 19 Nov 2021 and main round deadline on 14 Jan 2022. This year, we are offering a new application choice BSc in Sustainable and Green Finance, leveraging the heightening sustainability concerns and demands for talents in the finance sector.
The Extended Major in Artificial Intelligence will be made available for our business students when they start declaring their majors while an entirely new Extended Major in Digital Media and Creative Arts will also be launched.
Last but not least, we are proud to announce the establishment of HKUST Beyond Academic Admissions Scholarship (BAAS), a new scholarship to absorb our previous two non-academic scholarships and further expand the scope to recognize a much broader spectrum of talents and achievements. Awardees would enjoy a one-off scholarship of HKD 50,000 and favorable admissions offer(s).

[New] UK - Discover Study in the North East - Careers Webinar
Team ‘Discover Study in the North East’ is excited to announce our second virtual session that is all about careers and employability in the UK and Hong Kong, and how students can maximise their time at university to prepare themselves for the working world. NL - Tilburg University Virtual Open Day

Another successful event of last year was the Tilburg University Virtual Open Day. Therefore we are again organizing the virtual open day, so that students from around the globe can get to know the university and our study programs. You and your students can join both program sessions and thematic sessions, as well as chat with current students, staff and study advisors.
Medical Doorway - Study Medicine in London
Medical Doorway are delighted announce that applications are now open for the MBBS programme at Brunel University in London. The MBBS offered by Brunel is only open to international students, creating a new pathway for students who want a UK medical qualification. The number of medical school seats for international students in London is at a premium. The Brunel University programme offers a fantastic opportunity for aspiring doctors who want the added convince and experience of studying and living in one of the world's most connected capitals. Applications can be made directly and 100% free with Medical Doorway giving applicants a fifth option in addition to their four UCAS choices. For the 2022 admission, IB candidates should have, or be expected to achieve, a total score of at least 33 points with Higher Level 6 and Higher Level 5 in either Chemistry or Biology and a second science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics). Currently UCAT or BMAT is NOT required. In 2022 five scholarships of up to £30,000 will be available. This will reduce the current annual tuition fee of £41,200 to £35,200 per year for the five years of the MBBS.
