[New] HKBU Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions

The University will organise its Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions on 24 October 2020 (Saturday) during 10am - 5pm. On the event day, around 100 live interactive webinars will be hosted by our faculties/ programmes/ administrative and supporting offices. Prospective students will have opportunities to experience the vibrant campus life, interact with our programme directors, chat with our current students and alumni, enjoy virtual visit to campus facilities and get the latest programme information on our curriculum by joining our live webinars. There will also be a sharing session cum admissions talk tailored for students with international qualifications such as GCE, IB and SAT. Please find below the details of the talk:

[New] CUHK Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2020

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) will organise the 2020 Virtual Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions on Saturday 10 October from 9.00am to 6.00pm. The online event will provide students with comprehensive information about our degree programmes, curriculum and the latest developments at the University.

Our eight Faculties—Arts, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Science and Social Science—and the respective programmes (70+ majors), our nine Colleges as well as some of our administrative units will host admission talks, online written chat sessions and share videos and admissions information on that day.

The highlights of the Information Day include:

- “Brave New Normal – College Attendance and the World of Work in Future” (at 11.30am)

  • Featuring guidance on university education, application to CUHK and Q&A

  • Please register for the thematic talk via this link

- Question and Answer Session for Local Non-JUPAS Applicants with international qualifications (from 2pm to 6pm)

  • Real time written chatroom where all questions on application to CUHK are answered

  • Participants who register for the Virtual Information Day will find links to this session via the event portal

US - Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) Summer Program

The YYGS application is now open, and we encourage students in grades 10 or 11 (or international equivalent) from all around the world to apply! YYGS invites eligible students to join us this coming July! Experience life as a university student at Yale while attending an academic session of your choosing. 


Here's what you need to know:

  • Meet peers from over 130 countries around the world (including all 50 U.S. states), and join discussions where students offer global perspectives.

  • We provide over $3 million USD in need-based financial aid equally to both domestic and international students, offered as discounts covering up to 100% of tuition costs.

  • Apply by our Early Action deadline and hear your decision back by late December. If the fee poses a financial burden, submit a fee waiver to make your application fee $0 USD.
